What are the gate access hours?
Our gate access is available from 5:30am – midnight so there is plenty of time for you to access your belongings.
Is there a long-term lease?
All storage contracts are month to month, however you can move out of your unit at any time and cancel your contract.
Can I pay for future month’s storage rent?
Yes, this is helpful for customers with busy schedules who may not be able to pay on the same day every month. You can pay for as many months ahead of time as you’d like for your convenience.
Will I receive a monthly “bill”?
No, you may receive a friendly email reminder right before your rent is due or a phone call the day payment is due.
What forms of payment do you accept?
For your convenience we accept; cash, debit, credit, auto payment (which can be set up in the office), e-transfer, and online payments.
Do I need to provide my own lock?
Yes, for safety reasons we require everyone to have their own lock on their unit. We sell a variety of locks at our convenience store, they are also now available for purchase through our online store as well.
May I allow friends or relatives to access my unit?
Yes, although for security purposes we will need to add their contact information in the system, as well as each person will need to choose their own access code to grant entry into the facility.
Does the facility assume any liability for the goods I store?
We understand if your belonging are worth storing, they are worth protecting. Although as per the rental contract East Side Storage does not accept control, custody or responsibility for the care of property.
Are your spaces easily accessible?
Yes, our spacious drive up units make it easy to load and unload your belongings.
What are the inside dimensions of the unit?
Standard Sea Can dimensions are 7.8 ft (2.4 m) high by 7.6 ft (2.3 m) wide. High cube Sea Cans are 8.8 ft (2.7 m) high by 7.6 ft (2.3 m) wide.
